Project Shrine: Three Gorgeous Bathroom Transformations

2 min read

Three bathrooms, three very different styles, and a whole lot of beautiful tile.

We recently wrapped up a project that included a complete primary bathroom transformation, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom refresh, and a basement bathroom with some gorgeous personality.

The Primary Bathroom: We Changed Everything

This bathroom needed more than a facelift. The original layout wasn't making the best use of the space, so we reworked the entire floor plan, including the closet, to give everything a little more breathing room.

And we're pretty happy with where we landed.

The showstopper is the wet room, complete with two rain shower heads and a freestanding soaking tub. The textured tile, warm brass fixtures, and glass enclosure make this one of our favorite spaces in the house.

On the opposite wall, we went bold with floor-to-ceiling deep green tile behind a custom double vanity. The rich wood cabinetry and brass details are a beautiful combination, especially against that glossy green.

We also made room for a more spacious, functional closet. Sometimes the biggest improvement in a remodel is simply figuring out a better way to use the square footage you already have.

The Jack-and-Jill Bathroom: A Little Symmetry Goes a Long Way

Shared bathrooms can be tricky, especially when you're trying to give everyone their own space.

For this Jack-and-Jill bathroom, we created two almost identical vanity areas with a beautiful shower positioned between them.

We kept the finishes consistent throughout, with warm wood cabinetry, brass accents, and clean, bright surfaces.

The result is a bathroom that feels balanced, practical, and pretty darn good-looking.

The Basement Bathroom: We're Here for the Pink

This one might be the most fun of the three. For the basement bathroom, we went with Sherwin-Williams Socialite on the walls, a gorgeous dusty rose color that gives the room so much personality.

The delicate floral pattern is subtle enough to keep the room feeling soft, but interesting enough to make you look twice. We paired it with brass fixtures, a scalloped mirror, and warm wood cabinetry.

It's colorful, a little unexpected, and perfect for a girls' bathroom.

Which One Is Your Favorite?

We love that these three bathrooms all belong to the same home but have completely different personalities.

From a complete floor plan overhaul to the smaller details that give a room its character, this project was a fun reminder of just how much you can do with a bathroom remodel.

Have a bathroom that's ready for an update? We'd love to hear what you have in mind.
